Lazy Blueberry Pie Cereal
I find that on the days when I have no meals planned and I’m scrambling for something to eat, my best work emerges. I woke up this morning starving and in a frenzy. On Saturdays my fridge is bare due to the fact that I don’t food shop until Sunday or Monday. I had only 3 ingredients that appealed to me. Granola. Frozen Blueberries. Protein Almond Milk. By some miracle, I made these simple ingredients into one of my new favorite breakfast meals!
- 1/2 Cup Granola (I used Honey flavored)
- 3/4-1 Cup Dairy Free Milk
- 1/2 Cup Frozen Blueberries
- 1/2-1 Tbsp Chia Seeds (Optional)
Over low-medium heat warm up dairy free milk and blueberries on the stove. Once the mixture comes to a slow boil, remove from heat
Combine the blueberry mixture with the granola and chia seeds. Let it soak for at least 5 minutes until the granola begins to soften
